Type Tarts

I contributed several pieces to the Type Tarts project, for which designers were asked to design a ‘tart-card’ for either a typeface or a single letter.

Conceived by UK Type to support the St Bride Library, London, it was then run in collaboration with Wallpaper* Magazine who also included a feature on it in its July 2009 Sex Issue.

All entries were exhibited in London in July 2009, and has continued as a touring exhibition – its most recent stop was in Birmingham, December 2011.

Contributors have included Neville Brody, Anthony Burrill and Erik Kessels.
