Process

ProcessWhatever the type of project, this is how I go about delivering what you need:

1: Research
This crucial first step is where I gather as much client and project information as I can in order to gain a thorough understanding of your requirements. This is usually done with both a design brief and a client meeting, whereby there is a two-way consultation process. As an example: in creating a business identity, we look into the history of the business, its current standing, and the one aspired to, as well as trends in the market, client competition, and what sets the client apart from them. I then review and research this information, plan my strategy, and the brainstorming begins.

2: Ideation
Next, comes conceptualisation and design development; this is looking into the idea itself and creating the concept based on the information given in the brief. Here is also where I start to implement it visually; creating the look and style by generating visual ideas and refining the design.

3: Artwork
The design and concept is presented to the client, and client feedback is reviewed to make sure we’re on the right track. After review, any necessary revisions are made, or we move straight on to finalising the project.

4: Delivery
Finally, the project is signed off as complete, after which it is supplied. In some cases this will be digital (for a website or screen graphics for example), in other cases it will be for print (some clients source their own printer, others will ask überbaby to do it), or both.
Then, if you have any ongoing requirements and needs, überbaby is happy to provide any other appropriate assistance.

Ta-dah! Process complete.
