Philosophy

Philosophyüberbaby is myself, Zoë Daniels, a freelance graphic designer from London.

I enjoy working in both digital and traditional techniques, and often use a combination of the two. I also have a particular passion for typography, and have a special penchant for ligatures and ampersands. When I’m not working on a project, I continue experimenting to keep my ideas fresh, my creative brain ticking over, and to push myself as a designer.

Graduating in History of Art, Architecture and Design at Kingston University, I later completed several courses at the London College of Communication. These included Applied Graphic Skills, Experimental Typography, Narrative Illustration and 2D Design Software.

I have experience of exhibiting artwork and published work, and my main areas of work are in web and print design, including logos and brand identity, websites and promotional material such as business stationery, display banners, posters, brochures and invitations.

My design philosophy is simple. I believe it is essential to have a fresh, forward-thinking outlook, enthusiasm and energy, bursting with ideas and creative thinking. Functionality is fundamental, and I aim to provide positive communication in all the projects I work on. And for it to be aesthetically pleasing and attention-grabbing helps too! In short, I work to provide the most effective creative design solution for the job.

If you want to find out how I can work for you, please get in contact.
Thank you!
